“The information will be placed in a database. One of the commissioners, Lonnie Ali, asked if the database will be made public. Bonham said that “at this point it is just for the commission and we are at a relatively preliminary stage and so I think in part you will all decide about that at the end of the day. … It is a big enterprise, the federal government funds an extraordinary volume of research and this has never been done before.” She added the staff is also collecting the agencies’ perspectives on what guides their human subject protections and the documents used to direct those protections.”
