The answer to Beecher’s question
Who would willingly volunteer for HSR?

“As of 2007, not a single U.S. government researcher had been prosecuted for human experimentation, and many of the victims of U.S. government experiments have not received compensation, or in many cases, acknowledgment of what was done to them.”

Potential Community Mental Health Consumers?

I wonder if there is’nt a better way of doing this?

Could we modify EBM to include doctor /patient teams?
Or sack the FDA requirements and start fresh with something agreeable to all?

Human exprimentation is’nt all horrific but how to do this in a genuinely ethical manner?
